LUNA Equus 2.0 🇺🇸
Back in 2009 we created the first edition of the LUNA Equus sandal. The goal was to make the thinnest, most minimal sandal while at the same time making a piece of footwear that could last long and get more comfortable with use.
We have decided to re-introduce an updated and upgraded Equus, the Equus 2.0, adding improvements in comfort and craftsmanship. As in the past, the top remains Cordovan leather by world renowned Horween Leather Co., the finest shoe leather known for longevity and feel. The bottom again a thin yet durable Vibram rubber sole.
What is new is the way we attach the lace. In an effort to make the Equus 2.0 the most comfortable ultra-thin minimalist leather sandal, we’ve introduced a new way of attaching the 1/4” leather lace to the sandal allowing for a more comfortable and longer lasting experience you’ll appreciate from your first wear.

"Genuine Shell Cordovan is the art of tanning at its finest. More than just a color, it is a very specific leather, from a particular part of a horsehide. The irregular oval shaped shells are tanned, stuffed, shaved, and then polished – a process taking at least six months. Each shell is slowly steeped in gentle vegetable liquors. The shells are genuine hot stuffed then slicked onto glass frames to dry. Each shell is hand curried and shaved by highly skilled artisans to expose the shell. Dyes are hand rubbed on for a deep aniline finish. Finally, the shells are hand glazed to achieve the rich, glossy look and feel prized by fine craftsmen."
