This sandal is only available in the “Made in USA” version - made by hand in our American sandal factory in the good old USA, Washington State, where we turned an old apple storage building into a modern, perfectly tuned sandal factory where a single person can operate all equipment to make a single sandal level of skill crew.

What is the Hemp Monkey?
We take our best-selling everyday adventure sandal - the Mono Winged Edition - and put a hemp canvas footbed for a cooler, dryer, natural feel - and instead of our synthetic lace material, we use a proprietary blend of hemp braided with just the right amount of nylon to preserve strength and increase abrasion resistance at the same time.
** Our beloved Hemp Monkey just got a bold new twist. We’ve begun micro-batch dyeing our proprietary hemp laces in-house, crafting small, ultra-limited runs of rich, hand-finished colorways you won’t find anywhere else. The first three hues drop this week—once they’re gone, they’re truly gone. Every pair becomes a one-of-a-kind expression of adventure, artistry, and the spirit of LUNA.
